The apps are owned and operated by Moser & Fernandes, Buckhauserstrasse 1, Zürich 8048, Switzerland.

1. Data collection and usage

We are committed to user privacy. We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. Health and sensor data (heart rate & BLE)

The apps may access your heart rate data via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors to provide real-time mindful riding and rowing metrics.

• Local processing: All health and sensor data is processed locally on your device.
• No cloud storage: This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
• Non-commercial use: We do not use health data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing in-app metrics. We do not sell this data to data brokers or insurance companies.

3. In-app purchases and subscriptions (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions.

• Data processed: RevenueCat may process a unique, anonymous device identifier and your purchase history to validate your subscription and unlock Kiru Pro features.
• Identity: This data is anonymous and is not linked to your real-world identity or any personal contact information.

4. Strava integration (optional)

If you choose to connect your Strava account, the apps will request permission to upload your activities. This connection is entirely optional.

• Your Strava credentials are never stored by Kiru. Authentication is handled via Strava's OAuth flow.
• Only activity data you explicitly choose to upload is sent to Strava.
• You can disconnect Strava at any time from within the Kiru app settings.

4a. Photo library access (workout screenshots)

At the end of a completed workout, the Kiru apps may ask for permission to save a summary screenshot to your device's photo library.

• What is saved: A single image of your workout summary screen — your session metrics, elapsed time, and scene — captured at the moment you end your session.
• Where it goes: The image is saved locally to a Kiru album in your device's photo library. It is not uploaded to our servers, transmitted to Strava, or shared with any third party.
• Why: So you have a shareable record of your session without needing to take a screenshot yourself. Useful for Instagram. We thought you'd appreciate that.
• Permission: iOS will ask for your permission before anything is saved. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone or iPad Settings without affecting any other app functionality.
• No obligation: This feature is entirely optional. Declining photo library access has no impact on your workouts, Strava uploads, or Kiru Pro features.

5. Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track behaviour across apps or websites.

6. Children's privacy

The Kiru apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the apps following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Apple App Store privacy disclosures

In accordance with Apple App Store requirements, the following data types are declared:
